Slab built vessel with blue wash by Kai Yasui. Original clay and sand mix stoneware woodfired at Ocean Ridge Kiln. This is a unique piece which has been glazed inside making it a functional vase. This artwork really is striking from every angle due to its multifaceted angular form. Here you can see Yasui-san was often influenced by the lines and geometry found in Art Deco design.
