Carved and hand molded large size natsume or tea caddy to hold matcha for the Japanese tea ceremony. Bronze manganese glaze on black clay. This natsume is inspired by rock formations and natural textures. The glaze is sparingly applied by brush on the outside to emphasise the rock like undulations in the form.
